They’re preparing for Saint Marcus day! Today a pickup loaded with red flags and ensigns was spotted in the main square, piazza grande.
A few hours later all over the front of the cityhall there were those flags pinned.
Meanwhile the fountain is now almost finished and today it was painted with
waterproof so now it seems a little more whitish!
We promised to always keep abreast of work in Montepulciano Italy Twilighters and always keeps his promises! The photos depict a truck production download benches apparent and some ancient statue cartapesca Gothic palace in the town. Pare was also moved to the red flags and spears from an adjacent building. Here are photos from Montepulciano taken this morning:

A legion of fans are going to be very envious regarding my destination tomorrow night. Having already visited the set of the original "Twilight" a year ago in the wilds of Oregon while I was chronicling the world of movies at MSN, I'm lucky enough to be going back-to-back as I head to Vancouver for a sneak peek of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
First time around I and one other journalist got a gift that is a rarity nowadays: a 45 minute interview with a relaxed and blunter than he'll ever be again Robert Pattinson. Don't expect that to happen this time around, but, no doubt director Chris Weitz will want to share his vision for the second chapter in the "Twilight" saga. Who else will HitFix get to chat with? Unclear, but it should be a very busy day.
Summit is smartly embargoing our stories for a bit to wet everyone's appetite, but you can follow my journey to some extent over the next few days on Twitter. Or, why not participate? This writer has purposely avoided reading any of the novels to come at the series from a strictly cinematic perspective (a decision that has worked well for the "Harry Potter" franchise). However, I'd love to know what you, the fans, would like to find out about the movie. What are you most curious about? What would you ask Chris Weitz if you could? Dakota Fanning? Or, a member of the Wolfpack?
On Friday night, the set of New Moon in New Westminster, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filming a scene in which Kristen goes for a joyride on a motorcycle, then sees Robert/Edward appear as an apparition.Source: LaineyGossip
I LOVE the shot of Kristen with her hair whipping in the wind and the expression on her face. Beautiful. Also, take note of her sitting on the ground while Robert is waiting for them to set up. Cute right?
Saturday night, Pattinson and Stewart went to support his friend Sam Bradley who was performing at a charity gig. Before that though they were kind enough to stop and take photos with a fan called Martina (thanks Martina!).
Also attaching photos sent from Stephanie, Drew, and Lisa from Seattle of Kristen during the show – thanks girls! Word is she and Pattinson were both ripped by the time they left, continuing on with Sam Bradley late late into the night/morning and recovering most of the day yesterday. Schedule is busy this week. More on that later.

The New Moon production continues to film in Vancouver. Fans of Twilight are constantly on the prowl for buzz as to where they might be able to spot stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Because there are so many exterior scenes to be filmed for New Moon, the Twilight-ers have been blessed with plenty of opportunities -- like for example, today.
New Moon is filming second unit scenes at the Central Parfk Outdoor Swimming Pool. For those unfamiliar with the location, Central Park is a 90-hectare park on the border between Vancouver proper and the city of Burnaby. The New Moon production has taken over all of the pool area, setting up a complex construct that surrounds just a portion of the pool with a greenscreen. Perched and hanging 20 feet or so above the pool's surface there is a green-painted metal cargo container similar, if not exactly, like the ones used to transport goods on ships across oceans. The greenscreen walls close in around the container. A practical light with diffuser was being positioned to provide greater illumination of the area beneath the container. Click here to read more
This set is where they are filming the special effects green screen of Bella's Cliff Dive in La Push in New Moon. Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre, Taylor Lautner and Rob Pattinson were all filming at the secret outdoor pool location today (April 20).
In this scene, Bella jumps off the cliff, a flash of Victoria is seen in the background, and Bella plunges into the ocean and sees Edward’s “face” underwater. She is then rescued by Jacob.
The crew had set up a complex special effects scene at the public outdoor pool with a number of layered green screens set up high above the pool. They also used a number of cranes and rigs to help block out the direct sunlight (it was bright and hot today)."
Security was tight again, and no once could see into the pool, but fans saw Taylor Lautner who came out to sign autogtaphs and take photos. When Amy and I got there, we saw Kristen Stewart walk into the pool set shielded by umbrellas from fans.

Looks like some of the students from David Thompson secondary school in East Vancouver wasn't so fond about the idea that New Moon was being filmed there. Alice Chow, a student from David Thompson, wrote a letter to Vancouver Sun voicing out her complains about the disruption brought about by New Moon.Re: Fan's Twilight obsession drives her to Vancouver, desperate for an encounter, April 17'
The Twilight fans who wish scenes from New Moon had been filmed at their school should think twice. I know I speak for other students at David Thompson secondary school in east Vancouver as well when I say we are so glad the New Moon crew has gone.
It seemed pretty cool at first, but when you mix in the hottest celebrities with a horrible film crew, the school turns into chaos. Closing the cafeteria for two days, taking over the foyer and forcing students to make detours and stop dead in our tracks during our break and lunch because they were filming a big-shot movie was not cool.
If they had wanted us to be quiet, perhaps they should've thought that through before taking over our school for two days. The crew acting like our school was theirs didn't help either.
I'm also sure many staff and students did not appreciate outside stalker fans coming into the school trying to get a glimpse of Spunk Ransom either. Famous people are humans, too; they'd appreciate privacy just like you would.
